| Membership Information The Alliance serves a membership of more than 340 arts organizations and individuals drawn from all artistic disciplines. You can search our members by clicking here. Why join? The Alliance creates a collective and united voice for the arts in culture sector in Greater Vancovuer. Our strength is found through your support. We advocate on your behalf in order to build better connections with business, government, the media and general public. In doing so we monitor, respond to and synthesize public policy changes and participate in forums, boards, panels and committees. We also offer the following benefits to members: Access the cultural tourist: Non-profit organizations receive a 50% discount on a membership with Tourism Vancouver and are able to partner with other Tourism Vancouver organizations on tourism initiatives and access all the benefits of a Tourism Vancouver membership. Access to the Member’s Advantage Program: The Alliance for Arts and Culture has secured discounts with service providers: group health and dental benefits with GroupHEALTH Global, Corporate Express office supplies, Quantum Accounting Services, Clubcard promotional materials, ConferTel web and audio conferencing, GiftTool and Chiropractic Services. Broad distribution of company news: Get the news out about your events by broadcasting press releases via the E-Net services. Send your press releases to over 70 arts media outlets in the Lower Mainland at a 50% discount, and to our membership for free. Events Calendar: The Alliance offers members the opportunity to post events online at the Tourism Vancouver's Tickets Tonight events calendar. Discounted admission to Professional Development workshops: The Alliance for Arts and Culture features workshops of varying levels aimed at assisting cultural producers become the best they can be. Topics range from grant writing and fundraising, to media relations and human resources. Industry Information: Keep abreast of what your peers are doing as you receive weekly member-to-member announcements. Receive the Alliance News: A newsletter updating our membership on Alliance activities, funding opportunities, political news and other announcements of cultural importance to the community. Meeting Space: Need a place to meet? Members can use our boardroom for meetings and events one free booking per month with other bookings at a discounted rate.
