Activating Member Pages

Dear Alliance for Arts and Culture members,

You can now create your own Member Pageadd yourself to our growing Metro Vancouver Arts Map and display your twitter feed here.  We would like to invite you to activate your listing on our site if you haven't already done so.  

To do this, please log in* and select the Member Profile tab on your record.  Remember, you must be in the "member profile" view to begin.  It will only take you a few minutes to do the following things:

 

1. Upload your company logo.

 

2. Select your arts discipline.

 

3. Enter a few relevant tags describing what your company does, i.e. theatre, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, etc.

 

4. Enter a description of your company.

 

5. Scroll down to the "locations" hotlink, click on it and enter your full address information (all fields including postal code).  This will put you on the Metro Vancouver Arts Map

 

6. When you have hit Submit you will have created your own Member Page.

 

Your web account and full membership will also allow you to post jobs, calls for artists, and volunteer opportunities to members of the arts community and the general public.  We receive a very high volume of traffic as this is a prime destination for job seekers in our community.  Please be sure to take advantage of this service.

* to log in, please enter your company's full username.  For example, enter "Arts Club Theatre Company" or "Cinevolution Media Arts Society".  We accept only full names because the username you choose will appear in your listing and we want that listing to display complete information to the public.

 

If you have forgotten your password, please select the black tab marked "request new password" and we will send you a new one.  When you have both (case sensitive) username and password, you can log in and proceed to step 1 above.
