Call for Artists Description: 

The Goh Ballet Academy, an internationally renowned ballet institute based in Vancouver, BC, is seeking two permanent full-time senior instructors to join our annual faculty. 

General Position Requirements (for positions (A) & (B)) 
- Must be able to speak English effectively to communicate with students and staff
- Must have experience as an Instructor, Coach or Choreographer for reputable establishments, festivals or competitions
- Must have received formal training from a recognized instructional institution
- Background knowledge of the dramatic arts and interpretations in relation to various forms of dance required
- Certification from a reputable organization in the field of dance an asset
- Must have at least five years of teaching experience
- Certification in the Vagonova method required

Specialized Requirements for Position (A)
- Must have a strong knowledge of and background setting classical ballet repertoire
- Must be capable and comfortable teaching students aged 9+
- Must have at least five years of professional dance stage experience
- Must be capable and trained in teaching specifics for female pointe work

Specialized Requirements for Position (B)
- Must have a strong knowledge of and a background of coaching Principal roles from the classical repertoire
- Must have strong and reputable background in choreography and must be capable of setting choreography for full-length ballets as well as specialized short pieces
- Must have been a Soloist of Principal Dancer with a recognized/prestigious company with a professional career spanning at least 10 years
- Must have strong background and capability in teaching and coaching Pas de Deux
- Must be capable and comfortable teaching senior students aged 13+
