PTC Calls for Submissions to the Associates Program

Playwrights Theatre Centre

Nov. 15, 2016

Call for Artists Description:

PTC is seeking four exceptional playwrights to join the company for three years, to develop a central project – and their practice – with PTC dramaturgs. Our past Associates have developed plays, process, and a community of theatre makers. The PTC Associates each receive a $7500 stipend, process design, dramaturgical collaboration, workshops with actors, studio space, a writers’ retreat, and support finding producing partners. The Associates talk about theatre making, ideas, and their experiences with each other and PTC’s artists. By the end of the third year, the Associates have each completed a new play with clear production goals. The deadline to apply for the program is November 15, 2016.

How to Apply:

Applying to the Associates involves two steps:
Step 1: Join PTC or renew your membership, and fill in the online application form here. Scroll down to Become a Member, click on it and fill in the form.
