Call for Artists Description:

Are you a professional performing artist interested in working with schools?

The Arts Integration Learning Lab: Performing Artists Edition is a professional development experience designed for performing artists who are interested in inspiring curiosity and learning in young people across the province through art.

The Learning Lab provides performing artists with the resources and network to explore new creative possibilities through cross-pollination and collaboration in addition to an opportunity to learn how to integrate the BC Curriculum into their creative practise.

Over the course of five days, artists participate in a series of five practical, experiential workshops with learning outcomes that range from learning how to articulate how art enriches the learning process to how to navigate within school culture.

How to Apply:

A Subsidized Learning Series
The Arts Integration Learning Lab is free for artists selected to participate and will cover tuition, program materials and lunch. Travel and accommodation costs occurred by travelling to Vancouver to attend will not be covered. This opportunity is made possible through funding support from BC Arts Council and the Government of British Columbia’s Creative Futures program.
