"Free muffins!" said Liesl when we asked her what would be a snappy headline to get the attention of Metro Vancouver's arts publicists and marketing gurus.
So yes, there will be free muffins and coffee on Thursday, October 16 when the Alliance Marketing Council meets in the Alliance board room for a morning of networking, discussions with Metro Vancouver's Judy Robertson on the various marketing support programs available through Metro, and free coffee and muffins!
If you are the marketing / media relations / promotions / advertising member of your event or organization's team, this will be of interest to you.
Here's what we have planned:
GUEST: Judy Robertson of Metro Vancouver.
TOPICS: Since 1990 Metro Vancouver has been providing region-serving cultural grants to organizations across the Lower Mainland. Metro Vancouver also manages and administers MAXguide, a regional arts and culture calendar. Metro Vancouver has also collaborated with the pan-municipal Regional Cultural Development Advisory Committee on a series of leadership development workshops for non-profit community arts and culture organizations - “Survivor 101”.
As potential clients and users of all three of these programs, Marketing Council members will gain a better understanding of their value to audience development and organizational sustainability.”

10:00 a.m. Welcome and Introductions.
