Countdown to Culture Days National Congress!

Save the Date for Culture Days' National Congress 2015 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Featuring keynote presentations from Todd Hirsch, Chief Economist, ATB Financial and Chair, Alberta Premier's Council on Culture, and Jean Grand-Maître, Artistic Director of the Alberta Ballet, the Congress program also includes a range of educational sessions and breakout workshops.

Register for the Congress now and you will:

  • Have the unique opportunity to pitch your event Dragon's Den-style to a panel of sponsorship experts in a mock "pitch and buy" session.
  • Walk away with tips on how to get the media to pick up your story and share it with your audience, learn strategies on how to effectively write for your audience and communications channels, and explore potential answers to the question: How can we enhance social, ecological and economic well-being and help civic cultures thrive?
  • Be inspired by award-winning Culture Days events from across the country; winners in categories such as marketing, innovative event and leadership will give you ideas to emulate in your own way.
  • Sign up for special behind-the-scenes tours of some of Edmonton's great cultural facilities – to take place on Saturday, May 9.

The stunning architectural space of the Art Gallery of Alberta is the site for a opening cocktail reception. The National Congress culminates with a gala dinner to honour the 2014 Culture Days award winners. The dinner will be hosted by Marci Ien, Co-host of CTV's Canada AM.
