New Societies Act Workshop

Concerned about the changes to the Society Act? Wondering how to make sure you're in compliance with all of the new regulations?

The Non Profit Charities Legal Outreach (NPCLO) will be hosting a workshop to help guide your organization through the coming evolution. The objective of the workshop is to help participants learn what they need to know to transition effectively under the new Act.  The workshop will cover major changes, their impact and how to prepare: everything you need to know about the New Societies Act!

Date: July 15th, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
The Facilitator: Martha Rans. Martha is the legal director of Artists’ Legal Outreach. She has been practicing law in British Columbia since 1997, and works extensively with arts organizations, not-for-profit societies, and visual and multimedia digital artists.
Cost: $50 plus applicable fees. Space is limited.
