Vancouver Indigenous Group Seeks Back-To-School Supplies for Students

The Indigenous Action Movement is partnering with Vancouver community members to collect donations for their annual Back To School Supplies Drive.

The cost of school supplies adds up and as a community, they are working together to help adult students and families send kids off to school confident that their kids are fully prepared.

Those who wish to help are invited to make donations of pencils, crayons, pencil crayons, scissors, loose-leaf paper, lined and blank notebooks, binders, rulers, glue sticks, erasers, lunch bags, water bottles, calculators and backpacks.

Items will be accepted at the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre pow wow night on September 8 from 5:30 p.m.onwards.
