Ballet BC Announces New Executive Director

Ballet BC is welcoming John Clark as their new Executive Director. Clark has an extensive history of working in the arts and non-profit sectors, having been Vice President of Development at the National YoungArts Foundation in Miami, Florida; Senior Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences, and then Associate Vice President of Development, at Georgia State University in Atlanta; and Director of Development for the Atlanta Ballet. 

"My objective is not only to ensure Ballet BC's sustainability and longevity, but also to increase visibility, building financial support and deepening community relationships so that it can thrive, grow, and continue to be a model for contemporary ballet companies throughout Canada, and well beyond," said Clark in a statement on his new role with Ballet BC.

Dr. Kevin B. Leslie, President and Chair of the Ballet BC Board of Directors, thanked outgoing ED Branislav Henselmann for his work in increasing the company's international influence, and vowed to continue and expand his legacy with new ED John Clark.
