Arts Summit News: Community Snapshots / Art for Social Change

Another feature of Arts Summit 2013 will be a series of inspiring presentations under the title "Community Snapshots / Art For Social Change"

Confirmed participants so far include Benedicte Schoepflin of Roedde House Museum who will talk about the museum's work in education and their relationship with the province-wide network of house museums. Nicki Kahnamoui of Arts Health Network BC will tell us about initiatives in the health field, with a focus on art in the work of Coast Mental Health. Diane Roberts of Urbanink Productions will talk about that group's twelve years of "igniting passions and inspiring change!"

Each presentation will conclude with some thoughts on how a provincial cultural policy could support and enhance their endeavours.
