Culture Days 2013 Top Ten Cities & Towns Revealed

Culture Days has announced the 2013 top ten cities and towns based on the total number of registered Culture Days activities last year.

The three leading cities last year were Winnipeg, MB (Major Urban City), Richmond, BC (Regional or Belt City), and Merrickville, ON (Rural). Check out and share with others this “Top 10” infographic illustrating the most proactive cities in Canada during Culture Days!

Culture Days is gearing up for a grand celebration of its 5th anniversary this year on September 26, 27, and 28. Since its inception in 2010, Culture Days has seen an impressive growth in participation across the country with 5.5 million Canadians participating in 25,000 registered Culture Days activities in more than 800 cities and towns! 

Watch the Culture Days website in the coming weeks for program information and to register for the second annual National Congress on Culture, Culture: Everywhere. Everyday. Creating and Sustaining a National Daily Habit, taking place in Winnipeg on May 22 and 23. This will be followed in mid-March by early activity registration for the 5th annual Culture Days weekend.
