Burstin' with Broadway is accepting applications for the position of  Accompanist/Sectional Leader.

Burstin' with Broadway is a 100 member, SATB non-auditioned choir in North  Vancouver.

Rehearsals begin Tuesday Sept 14th, and continue weekly until our  concert May 28th, 2011.

Job Description: 

• An experienced accompanist with the ability to play all styles encompassed in  Musical Theatre repertoire (blues, gospel, jazz, pop, rock, as well as more  classical musical theatre) 
• Strong sight reading abilities 
• Comfortable playing in a trio in performance (Bass, Drums, Piano)  Comfortable leading sectionals of up to 25 singers. 
• Positive attitude and supportive of singers at all different levels of musical ability and able to support the mission of the choir which is that "anyone can  sing". 
• Rehearsals are each Tuesday evening beginning Sept 14th. (2 week break at  Christmas). 
• 2-3 outreach concerts/year 
• 2 year end concerts May 28th, 2011 

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
