We are casting the following parts:

NON-UNION

Leads:
The Ghost of Christmas Past/Present/and Future (traditionally played by a black woman): Sassy Adult female
Ebenezer Scrooge: Cranky old man who learns his ways
Mrs. Bob Cratchit: Female 30-60. Does not speak with and English Accent. She is tired, mad and done with Dickens lifestyle
Bob Cratchit: Male 30-60. Speaks with a British Accent. Way too happy for the poverty he lives in
Tiny Tim: Male, looks and sounds like a young boyish adult

Ensemble (parts are doubled up.):
Little Nell Cratchit: Also plays Mrs. Fezziwig and the Beadles Wife: Female Adult, Large and loud
Gentleman 1/ Mr. Fezziwig/The Beadle/bartender: Male, Large and Loud
Gentleman 2/Edvar/George Bailey/Voice of Tess/Serena the Maid: Male adult. Must do excellent impression of Jimmy Stewart and Swedish accent
Jacob Marley’s Ghost: Also Plays Clarence the Angel, and act 1 bartender): Male Adult. Must be able to do an impression of Clarence the Angel from It’s a Wonderful Life
Nice Mrs. Bob Cratchit/Hedwig/A Lovely Irish Voice: Female Adult. Must do Irish and Swedish accent well.
Young Jacob Marley (girl)/Cratchit Child #1/Zuzu Bailey: Female Child (Under age 13) Must be able to do an impression of Zuzu Bailey from It’s a Wonderful Life.
Young Ebenezer Scrooge/Cratchit Child #2: Male Child (Under age 13) Must be able to act like a mean old man.

Please prepare an upbeat A Capella song. You will be asked to read sides.

If cast you must be available for the following rehearsal and performance schedule:
Rehearsals: Oct 24th-Dec 10th Mon and Wednesday from 7pm-10pm and Saturdays 12pm-5pm
And Dec 13th and 14th at 645pm-1030pm
Performances: December 15th-Jan 7th, 8pm performances with Sunday matinees.
Schedule alters slighty around Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

*Note: Cast members must be members of Vagabond Players ($15 fee) prior to the first rehearsal.
