MISCELLANEOUS Productions, creators and producers of THE REENA PROJECT / Outcasts & Angels, What You Carry With You…, e-race, MISCELLANEOUS Magazine, Stock Characters: The Cooking Show, POWER and POWER 2 will be holding Auditions for Youth aged 14 – 24 years old for our new musical play commissioned by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival. Kutz & Dawgs, directed by professionals and offered as a free training program to youth will explore themes of gangs, violence, drugs and guns, and use art to find solutions to these societal issues.  Rehearsals will be held from July 2011 to May 2012 at the Britannia Secondary School Music Room and the Broadway Youth Resource Centre. The play will have its World Premiere at the Vancouver Int’l. Children’s Festival and there will be performances in November 2012 at the Heart of the City Festival. 

Youth will receive $25,000 worth of top professional training in hip hop and World musical theatre, cash honorariums, and 2 top performing talents will receive the Jennifer Bishop Harbour Dance Centre Scholarship.
