Description: 

The Richmond Arts Centre/ City of Richmond is seeking a Dance Recital Seamstress/Company to create costumes for the Annual School Year Dance Recital. This year the recital dates are Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, 2012.

Four hundred and ten (410) (ballet and jazz costumes for Three hundred and seventy-five (375)students. Ninety-five (95% ) of clientele are girls. The age range is three to eighteen (3 – 18) years.

Costumes will include a standard dance leotard and/or bodysuit with skirt or pant and other defining attachment based on age, gender and design. The theme is ‘Dancing Thru Hollywood.  There are approximately twenty (20) films, one film per class per recital. 

How to Apply: 

Please include the following information with your proposal:

1.      A detailed listing of  project experience.

2.      A description of the company’s understanding of the project objectives/outcomes and vision, and how these will be achieved.

3.      Team Composition – a complete listing of all key personnel who will be assigned to this project.  This will include their relevant experience, qualifications for this project, roles and responsibilities, leadership, etc., in addition to their availability for this project.

4.      A detailed schedule of all activities, including milestones, project meetings, for this project.

5.      Provide price range for costumes as per sample pictures. Price range on costumes are to include all material, attachments, service/labour charges, shipping and any other charges excluding taxes for project completion. 

6.      A costume sample displaying the level of quality.  If you would like your costume returned, email mburner@richmond.ca. Make sure to attach your company’s label to the sample.

7.      A minimum of three (3) client references from projects of a similar size and scope.

 

All proposals are due by October 31, 2011
