CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Signal & Noise Media Art Festival, presented by VIVO Media Arts Centre in Vancouver BC Canada, is now accepting submissions for its 11th annual festival of single and multi-channel audio & video work, audio visual performance and installation.

Signal & Noise 2011 encourages applicants to consider the relationship between private and professional production, collaboration between archivers of personal and public histories and fictions, cultural production outside of contemporary art, the revitalization of discarded and repurposed materials and equipment, and the resuscitation of analogoue communication.
Special attention will be paid to work that converses with the aural/oral and visual history and identity dating, pre-dating and post-datingVancouver’s 125 years. We encourage artists, curators and centres to submit works or ideas for programs that highlight Vancouver’s media art history.
