A world-renowned festival of performing arts for young audiences, the Vancouver International Children's Festival has been educating, entertaining and inspiring young audiences since 1978.

The Festival has been emulated around the world, helping to enhance the reputation of Vancouver and Canada as a leader in the presentation of performing arts for young people.

United Players of Vancouver, locally known as "the little company that could", is the resident theatre company of the Jericho Arts Centre.  Producing five plays a year, it has been providing quality theatre to Vancouver audiences for over fifty years.

Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts

The Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts is Canada's longest-running literary festival with the mandate to present Canadian writers only. Celebrating 30 years August 16-19, 2012, the festival takes place in the town of Sechelt on BC's Sunshine Coast. The Festival of the Written Arts attracts an audience of about 9,000 and writers of diverse genres from across the country. All events take place in the 450-seat Festival Pavilion, located in the heart of the heritage Rockwood Gardens.

Studio 58, Langara College

Studio 58

Studio 58 is the professional theatre training program at Langara College, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is the only conservatory-style theatre training program in Western Canada and offers training for actors and production personnel. Studio 58 has a 3 year program for acting and a 2 year program for production.
