Applications are invited for a Program Assistant, Marketing + Communications, to provide marketing, communications and program development support to Continuing Studies. In addition the role also provides administrative support to the various projects and programs offered through Continuing Studies’ mandate including certificate and diploma programs, general non-credit course offerings, contract training and special programs.
Compaigni V’ni Dansi is a Vancouver-based dance group that fuses traditional Métis dance with contemporary arts. Formed in 2000 by Yvonne Chartrand, the group has been dedicated to preservation and innovation, successfully sharing the culture and history of the Métis with both Aboriginal and mainstream audiences since its inception.
The Vancouver Symphony is the third largest orchestra in Canada, with an annual operating budget of just over $13 million. The Orchestra performs 140 concerts annually in some fourteen series in its home, the Orpheum Theatre, and numerous venues throughout Lower Mainland British Columbia. In addition, it can be heard regularly across Canada and the Northern United States on CBC radio broadcasts. Bramwell Tovey is the Music Director.
Founded in 1988, Dance Umbrella of Ontario (DUO) is a not for profit organization whose goal is to animate and support dance throughout Ontario. It serves professional dance creators and small-scale dance companies who represent a rich variety of dance styles. Its management services can be purchased separately or in packages that suit a project’s or an organization’s needs—from short-term production coordination to annual service.
