West Vancouver Community Services is accepting applications for Music Instructors to teach the following programs in the fall 2011 and winter 2012 terms at the West Vancouver Community Centre:
Guitar – Private Lessons (8 yrs+) on Thursdays and Fridays
Piano – Group Class (4-5 yrs) on Fridays
Piano – Private Lessons (4 yrs+) on Fridays and Saturdays
The VSO School of Music is a new state-of-the-art community music school opening in August 2011. Located adjacent to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver, BC, this 25,000 square foot educational facility will include 17 instruction rooms, 2 classrooms, ensemble room, percussion room, computer listening stations, practice rooms, gift shop and cafe. In addition, the School will have an acoustically isolated 120-seat recital hall with recording and distance learning capabilities. Students of the VSO School of Music will be of all ages and abilities.

The Squamsh Academy of Music is set to open June 2011 and will offer private music instruction and group classes/ workshops on musical topics. We are seeking passionate, professional music instructors to teach all instruments, ages, and abilities. We are particularly interested in teachers qualified to teach voice and piano.
