Gallery Gachet

Gallery Gachet is a unique artist run centre located in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. Run by a collective and staff team, we provide artists who speak to mental health, trauma, or abuse experience with opportunities to collaborate, exhibit, curate, perform, publish and teach. We support these artists in the development of their professional art practices.

The Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery at the University of British Columbia is accepting applications for the position of Public Programs & Exhibitions Assistant. This is a temporary student appointment from May 17 to September 3, 2010 (16 weeks) and the position is 35 hours per week. This position is conditional on the approval of funding by the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations program, and program eligibility requirements apply (see below).
