The Gulf of Georgia Cannery seeks photographic submissions for its annual photo contest and archive project Fishing the West Coast 2011.

The photographs you submit to the contest will be featured in an exhibit at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site from August 27^th to October 28^th, 2011.  At the conclusion of the exhibit, all the photos will become part of the Gulf of Georgia Cannery’s permanent collection. You will make a lasting contribution to the record of B.C.’s all-important fishing industry.
