Squamish Academy of Music is seeking a director and drama instructor for the "Broadway or Bust" musical theatre summer program. Now in its 9th season, this program provides young people ages 6-18 with instruction in the performing arts areas of dancing, singing, and acting. The three-week program culminates in the production of a full-scale musical.
The Squamish Academy of Music is seeking professional, passionate, music instructors to teach private lessons at our downtown Squamish location, 45 min. north of Vancouver. We have an immediate need for a piano teacher but we are accepting applications from teachers of all musical disciplines.
The University Community Children’s Choir (UCCC) is composed of approximately fifty children aged seven to fifteen from the vibrant community surrounding the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. In its first year, the Choir won first in its class at the 2008 Kiwanis Music Festival in Vancouver and was runner-up at the provincial level.
CiTR 101.9 FM is the broadcasting voice of the University of British Columbia, beginning as a student club in 1937, and gaining not-for-profit status and a place on the FM dial in 1982. Run by the Student Radio Society of UBC, CiTR is a campus-based community radio station, student-driven while serving the larger community. CiTR offers alternative coverage of every genre and perspective, with a mandate to support niche programming and Canadian and local artists.
