The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is seeking First Nations Artists for a themed exhibition called “Pushing Boundaries”

June 3 – July 2, 2011 at CityScape Community Art Space 

Opening reception: Thursday, June 2, 2011, 7-9pm

This exhibition will showcase contemporary First Nations art work. Artists are encouraged to “push the boundaries” to create contemporary work with traditional association using non-traditional mediums or traditional mediums with a contemporary edge.

Work must retain semblance to reality while maintaining the subjective interpretation of the artist. It is open to all living artists worldwide. $8000 in prize awards!
