Light The Stage Musical Theatre Company

Light The Stage programs provide a holistic approach to learning - we develop the whole person.  While children learn about the performing arts (singing, acting and dancing) they also learn how to be a better person both individually and within a community.  This involves team building, problem solving, acting as role models, leadership skills and self discipline.

The University Community Children’s Choir (UCCC) is composed of over sixty children aged seven to fifteen from the vibrant community surrounding the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. The choristers’ shining faces illustrate Canada’s amazing cultural diversity; its members come from every continent of the world except Antarctica! Many of the choristers are children of international students and faculty at the University of British Columbia, and they bring the spice of diverse cultures to their music.
