Organization Description:

We manufacture a custom ceramic product and have been making these precious one-of-a-kind keepsakes in the lower mainland for 13 years. We are a small, team oriented studio, looking for dependable and hardworking employees who have the ability to apply both their creative and office management skills.


Job Description:

This is a full time permanent position as a Studio technician in Ceramics Manufacturing which requires a minimum 2 year commitment. (min 40hrs / week) Regular wage is paid hourly based on your experience and it can range from 15 to 20$/hr. (3 month mandatory probation period for training will start at a lower rate, your wage will increase after training has been completed). We are looking for suitable candidates to start on the 4th of November 2016. Therefore applicants are advised to submit their resume's as soon as possible as interviews can begin before the deadline.


- Creating one of a kind ceramic keepsakes.
- Kiln loading and maintenance
- Customer service (emails and phone calls), retail sales.
- Data entry, packaging, sorting routes, stocking inventory
- Studio cleaning, maintenance and product development.


Necessary skills:
- Cursive writing
- Typing speed 45wpm
- Customer service / Phone calls
- Reasonable strength and physical endurance
- Ability to multi-task and stay well organized, attention to detail and craft
- Some experience of ceramics and or have an artistic background
- Comfortable with animals and children.

Additional Assets:
- Excellent memory
- Prior training in ceramics
- Foundation in practical Fine Arts
- Prior experience with Quickbooks
