Administrative and Marketing Assistant - Summer Student Position

The Third Street Theatre is the only professional theatre company on Vancouver’s North Shore and exists to create meaningful relationships through the performing arts that reveal the human experience.
Founded in 2005 by Artistic Director Brenda Leadlay, The Third Street Series is the banner under which Presentation House Theatre (PHT) presents and produces a professional season of plays.
PHT is seeking to fill a summer student Administration and Marketing Assistant position. The student will gain first hand experience in the operation of a not-for-profit theatre as we gear up for our 2011/2012 season. The student will have a key role in organizing our 2011 Governors’ Gala fundraising event.
The student must have been enrolled as a full time student and be returning to school in the fall. The student must be under 30 years of age.
- Assisting in the organization and running of 2011 Governor’s Gala fundraising event
- Will be trained in studio rental administration, including bookings, invoicing and contract management
- Volunteer management
- Social media marketing, website administration, media relations
- Database administration
- Assisting Front of House Manager
- Assisting Marketing Director
- Answering phone and processing mail
- Post secondary education
- Student of Arts Administration or Marketing
- Demonstrated interest in the arts/theatre/not-for-profit sector
