Job Information
The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is seeking a Fine Arts Instructor for our After School Arts Program.
After School Art, is a unique in-school programme provided by the NVCAC to numerous elementary schools in North Vancouver from Grade 1 to 7. The programme is designed to make the arts more accessible, convenient and comfortable for the parent and student by providing trained art instructors to teach students in their own school environment.
Classes are held on a weekday from 3:00-4:30pm and are 8 weeks long.
Innovative individuals who have original ideas and methods of teaching are encouraged to apply.
- Design and teach an 8 week art course to children
- Grades are normally divided Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-7
- Have an arts background, and enjoy working with kids
- Ideally, an artist who can teach

$30/hour, plus a half hour per class for prep/clean up
