Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is a non-profit society that entertains families through popular musical theatre shows while providing a vibrant outlet and training ground to develop aspiring performers and technicians both young and old. TUTS values an atmosphere of inclusion and mentorship in order to build strong character and to promote positive values
Theatre Under the Stars has presented 64 seasons of musical theatre at its outdoor venue in Stanley Park. It is a time‐honoured tradition for thousands of Lower Mainland families as well as attracting visitors from around the world. Shows being presented in 2011 are BYE BYE BIRDIE and ANYTHING GOES.
- Supervise and manage on-site Box Office Volunteer team
- Book group ticket sales, follow up on phone calls, emails and inquiries from customers
- Process company tickets
- Prepare VIP and media tickets
- Resolve patron ticketing complaints and concerns within TUTS policy guidelines
- Liaison with Tickets Tonight
- Previous Box Office, Front of House, customer service and/or hospitality experience
- Strong leadership, motivational, and delegation skills
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly attitude
- Experience working with volunteers and dynamic personalities an asset
- Ability to motivate and train Front of House Volunteers
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, team environment
- Outstanding organizational and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in flexible hours, including evenings
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, MAC and Tickets Tonight is an asset
