Dance Instructor- Boys Only Class (Part-time)

artspace dance is an innovative program that encourages creative process and solid technique through the artistic and physical exploration of contemporary dance. Boys Only class provides boys ages 5 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years a fun opportunity to enjoy the physicality and athleticism of contemporary dance and movement while acquiring coordination, balance, strength and physical confidence.
As a Dance Instructor, you are an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children. You have an innovative and collaborative approach to teaching, and are able to inspire creativity in your students. You enjoy working with a faculty of instructors who share the same vision. Your professional dance qualifications combined with your teaching experience makes you an ideal candidate for this position.
Your qualifications include:
- Minimum Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience teaching dance to children
- Proven ability to connect with children in a variety of age ranges
Reporting to the Founding Director of artspace, this position will be a part-time contract. Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Records Check and a reference check.
