Dance Instructors
Job Information
West Vancouver Community Services is accepting applications for Dance Instructors to teach the following programs in the fall 2010 and winter 2011 terms at the West Vancouver Community Centre:
Parent & Tot Dance (0.5-1.5 yrs)
Parent & Tot Dance (1.5-2.5 yrs)
Creative Dance (3-5 yrs)
Hip Hop Level 1 (5-7 yrs)
Hip Hop Level 1 (8-11 yrs)
The successful candidate will have professional training in dance, substantial experience as a dance instructor, knowledge of community recreation philosophies and instruction techniques, and experience working with children. Desirable qualifications include a university degree in dance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The successful candidate will be required to supply a criminal record check and a copy of their credentials.
All applicants must provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a sample lesson plan for each class or program to be taught.
