Development Coordinator for the Vancouver Out On Screen Film and Video Society
Job Information
OOS develops and supports programs that advance queer communities through education and cultural expression. What began in 1988 as a small film festival has evolved into a year-round multi-faceted queer arts organization.
This is a fifteen week contract starting as early as September 13.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the donor database, including: assisting with post-Festival data entry; data clean-up project; and creation of data entry standards and manual
- Processing donations and tax receipts
- Assisting with donor stewardship, including thank you calls
- Assisting with planning and implementation of the Fall direct mail campaign, including the design of collateral materials
- Research potential sponsorships and corporate donations
- Update and design layout for Festival sponsorship packages
Successful applicants will have, or will obtain during the term:
- Data management experience (Access or Income Manager a significant asset)
- Adobe InDesign
- Relationship building
In order to be eligible to apply, you must be:
- currently unemployed and receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits
- or, currently unemployed and have received EI within the last 3 years
