Capilano Suspension Bridge is seeking Entertainer and Park Guides for 2011 Summer season.
Entertainment is a division of the Operations Department, focused on sharing the culture and heritage of Capilano. Entertainment team members lead hourly as well as pre-booked tours, perform in music shows, participate in special events, escort and serve meal tours, host information and activity stations, take photographs of and with guests, and generally assist in the daily operation of the park.
Only applicants who are consistently available to work 8.5 hr shifts; 32-40 hrs/wk; between April 28th and September 5th; and during Capilano’s operating hours (8:30 am to 8:00 pm, 7 days/wk, including major holidays) will be considered.
Skills with any of the following instruments are an asset: voice, guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, drums, upright bass, violin, viola, fiddle, accordion, or cello.
Fluency in any of the following languages is also an asset: French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese or Korean.
A positive attitude, an ability to get along well with others, and a desire to give your all to make guest experiences memorable is essential.
