Programs range from introductory to pre-professional, with courses in music, theatre, dance, painting, sculpture, architecture, film, photography, media and more.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer this position provides varied, complex and confidential administrative support to the CEO. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior organizational ability and the capacity to work independently in a confidential and challenging environment where multitasking is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides executive administration support to the CEO’s office and Association Board of Directors, Foundation trustees, Board Committees and Task Forces. Ensures timely distribution of materials, tracks outstanding matters, and ensures logistics are planned and followed through transparently
• Coordinates executive appointment calendar and meeting schedule, e-mail management, office filing and database systems, travel arrangement coordination, and expense report completion
• Performs related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job
Key Requirements:
• Well organized and able to use good judgment to assess the priority and sensitivity of different work items in an environment where delivery may be subject to time constraints
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to effectively record and transcribe meeting minutes in a timely manner
• Senior level office administrative skills and practices (including experience with the Microsoft Office suite) that can be applied to a diverse group of stakeholders with varied administrative requirements
Qualifications: Education and Experience
The competencies for this position would typically be acquired through a diploma program at a technical institute and three to five years of experience providing senior level office administrative skills or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
