Experienced Maintenance Facility Coordinator
This hands-on position reports to the Building Administrator and has a key role in maintaining our pristine heritage building. Only physically fit individuals who are comfortable working on high ladders and performing duties in a fast-paced, professional, team oriented environment need apply. As a member of the building services department, duties for this position include: basic building custodial and maintenance work, set and technical setup and striking for artistic
events, managing contracts with building user groups, facility liaison/coordination for artistic events and church services, sound production (working with soundboard and microphones), and lighti g production (working with lighting board and changing/focusing theatrical lighting). later than Monday, November 14, 2011.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented and have a demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people; excellent people and communication skills are essential for this position. Previous supervisory experience and basic computer skills are required (experience with Microsoft Word & Outlook is preferred). BSW certificate and basic A/V skills including experience operating a sound board are an asset.
Compensation for this position is based on experience.
