Music Instructors (Guitar, Piano, and Violin)

West Vancouver Community Services is accepting applications for Music Instructors to teach the following programs in the fall 2011 and winter 2012 terms at the West Vancouver Community Centre:
Guitar – Private Lessons (8 yrs+) on Thursdays and Fridays Piano – Group Class (4-5 yrs) on Fridays Piano – Private Lessons (4 yrs+) on Fridays and Saturdays Violin – Group Class (4-5 yrs) on Tuesdays Violin – Private Lessons (4 yrs+) on Tuesdays

The successful candidate will have professional training in music, substantial experience as a music instructor, knowledge of community recreation philosophies and instruction techniques, and experience working with children and adults. Desirable qualifications include a university degree in music or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
All applicants must provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a sample lesson plan for each class or program to be taught. Materials may be submitted via mail or email.
