Job Information
The Squamsh Academy of Music is set to open June 2011 and will offer private music instruction and group classes/ workshops on musical topics. We are seeking passionate, professional music instructors to teach all instruments, ages, and abilities. We are particularly interested in teachers qualified to teach voice and piano.
Teachers will be aided by Squamish Academy of Music to develop their private studio in our new downtown Squamish location. There is a high interest in private music education in this area. Hours are flexible.
Applicants will possess a classical foundation in their training, and be comfortable working with students in a variety of styles. A degree or diploma, such as a BMus and a variety of performance experience are strong assets.
