ABOUT THE POSITION

The Cultch is currently looking for an outstanding phone sales professional. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you are a high energy, self-motivated and self-disciplined individual driven to achieve results. A team player who thrives in a creative and collaborative environment, the Sales Manager will be hard-working, deadline-driven, open to change and new possibilities, an avid learner, and a person who loves the arts or is a self-proclaimed artist.

Work Schedule: Weekend and evening work will be required; this is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities: 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sell subscriptions for the 2011-2012 season – renewals and acquisition
• Sell print & online advertising, rentals of both Historic Theatre and Culture Lab, and other initiatives as needed
• Book group sales for performances.
• Telefunding for individual giving campaigns
• Provide the best customer service at all times
• Attend trade shows as sales rep for The Cultch
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patrons, schools, rental clients, bus tour groups, corporations, etc.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of The Cultch, its facilities and programming

Qualifications: 

SKILLS

• Demonstrated success in sales; must have a record of success in completing goals on-time and problem solving
• Closing a deal comes naturally to you
• Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and ticket software programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be highly organized with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
