What began in 1988 as a small community film festival has evolved into a year-round multi-faceted queer arts organization with the following core programs: Out in Schools education program, Queer History Project and the annual Vancouver Queer Film Festival. Our vision is to celebrate and advance queer communities through cultural expression.

**Please note this contract position is tentative and subject to funding.**
- Facilitate Out in Schools presentations in high schools
- Coordinate youth filmmaking workshops, including workshop development and program administration
- Coordinate and promote youth activities at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival
- Collaborate with Director of Youth Education and Steering Group to research and develop a National LGBTQ Education & Awareness Week
- Assist with volunteer coordination
- Assist with OutinSchools.com web updates, as well as other social media updates
- Assist with administrative support of Out in Schools program
- Direct experience working with youth
- Experience with educational workshop design
- Community outreach and development skills
- Project management skills
