The Key Events Calendar is designed to help event coordinators avoid scheduling conflicts while planning their arts, culture and heritage events and activities.
Event planners - have you ever scheduled a major event, only to find that attendance is affected by a competing event at the same time?
This tool lists major cultural dates, arts and culture conferences, opening nights, festivals, gala fundraisers, and significant community events and activities over the coming 12 months across BC. Since road closures can affect attendance at your events, we also list events like races and parades that can block streets or cause delays. We also provide a Provincial and National Events calendar which includes holidays, special observances such as Black History Month, Freedom to Read Week, and International Dance Day, and provincial conferences.
This is not intended to be a comprehensive listing of all events and activities across communities, and is provided as a guide for event planners.
Listings are updated twice monthly.
