Incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia on September 25, 2007, Cinevolution Media Arts Society is a non-profit organization founded by local filmmakers, artists, critics, and social activists, who are passionate about cinematic art and intercultural communication.

The society is committed to organizing community-based festival, workshops and activities related to film, video and digital media. Our mission is to encourage new immigrants to express themselves through new media technology, to stimulate critical thinking and progressive ideas in the community, and to nurture dialogue between different cultures.
