Raven Spirit Dance is a Vancouver based contemporary dance company. Its mandate is to create, develop and produce contemporary dance that is rooted in a traditional and contemporary Aboriginal perspective. Raven Spirit’s work is informed by clarity of process, a plurality of forms and stories, and a deep sense of shared humanity. The ultimate intent is to reflect and validate a developed perception, affect transformative change, and forge a way forward, while understanding and acknowledging the past.
