The Vancouver City Dance Theatre is a professional, international, theatrical ballet company. Based on the Renaissance principles of the inclusive synergy of the arts, sciences and philosophy, the VCDT underlines a “re-birth” of classical ballet using the multiple, overlapping “trans” disciplines of the performing and visual arts with modern technology. Founded by directors Roberta Baseggio and Enrico Sorrentino, the company is based in the beautiful and vibrant city of Vancouver BC, where productions are premiered before setting on global touring engagements.
