Port Moody Arts Centre Society Logo

The Port Moody Arts Centre is a thriving multi-disciplinary arts centre offering over 300 classes annually, from ceramics and visual arts to music, voice and theatre, for all ages. The Society operates in a unique heritage building that was Port Moody’s original City Hall built in 1913.The Arts Centre has 4 exhibition spaces, plus an additional space off-site at the Scotiabank, where we host approximately 50 exhibits throughout the year of local to international artists in all media. We support the Blackberry Artist’s Society, a local artist’s co-op, who showcase the work of local artist’s in the gift shop, and we provide box office services for the City’s Inlet Theatre. In addition to these core services, the Arts Centre produces two large events each year (Port Moody Festival of the Arts and the Wearable Art Awards) to engage the community in a variety of art disciplines, from music/theatre/children’s performances to free hands-on art opportunities for audiences of all ages. We have developed three smaller annual fundraising events: Girls Night Out has grown into a popular event of comedy by women for women, and our partnership with West Coast Wine Education to present the semi-annual Best of BC Wine Tasting events has developed a strong following.
