Volunteer Information
Staff Development Officer (SDO). This is a volunteer Board position.
The Staff Development Officer will provide a framework (Staff Development Policy) within which decisions about staff development can be made and supported. This officer shall define the support the organization provides for the development of its staff; ensure that the Staff Development Policy and provision is aligned with Cineworks objectives, and implemented through the resources available to Cineworks.
The successful candidate will have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field. He/she will have strong project management skills, excellent communications skills and have an interest in the arts. Previous experience as an HR generalist is an asset, as is experience serving on a non-profit Board of Directors.
The SDO will abide by Cineworks Conflict of Interest Policies.
