Camp OUT! Workshop Proposals
Volunteer Information
We invite workshop proposals for CampOUT, a four-day summer camp committed to creating an inspiring and welcoming space for queer, trans, questioning, and allied youth (ages14-21) to be held August 5-8 2010 at a camp location north of Vancouver. The mission of CampOUT is to create a camping experience that fosters practical social, educational, health, and leadership skills in a positive, safe, fun space for BC’s queer and trans youth.
Workshop facilitators are responsible for submitting a workshop proposal in time for the submissions deadline. Workshops should focus on the camp's programming streams - Arts and Performance, Health and Sexuality, Leadership Skills, or Creating Community. Camp workshops will run approx 2 hours in length.
Applicants must have some group facilitation experience and must be knowledgable in the subject for which they are submitting a workshop proposal.
