Volunteer Information
CALL FOR FILM FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS!
Women In Film & Television Vancouver (WIFTV) is an internationally affiliated non-profit society committed to advancing & celebrating women in screen-based media.
Volunteering is a great way to network with other film, television and screen-based media members. You will hear about industry opportunities, and make valuable connections by getting involved with our festival. Volunteers bring our festival to life!
Film submissions will open on August 3rd, and the Late submissions deadline will be November 1st. The Film Jury will convene throughout the submissions period and meet in November, with a December 1st deadline for completion of the Festival programming.
The festival will be similar to the 2010 WIFF (http://www.womeninfilm.ca/WIFF_2010.html) and will include: film screenings, panel discussions, industry showcase, networking events, pitch sessions, the opening night feature film screening and gala reception, and a return of the New Media Day panels which were part of the 2009 WIFF.
If you'd like to have fun, make connections and be part of an important and inspiring event, join the 2011 Film Festival Organizing Committee. The following positions are available immediately:
