Volunteer Information
Established in 2006, Portobello West is a monthly market of local artists and designers. In 2010, Portobello West become a non-profit organization with a focus on the advancement and education of emerging artists and small business owners.
We are currently looking for interns and volunteers interested in promoting Portobello West, Vancouver’s only fashion and art market.
Topics include:
Market Research: Identifying new designers and artists in Vancouver
Marketing: Conducting email campaigns, Tweeting, facebooking and building press relationships
Event planning: Coordinating, promoting and setting up the monthly market
Sales: Securing sponsors and partners for events
Unpaid part-time (10-15 hours per month, including Market Day) internship with some flexible scheduling and must be able to work from home.
