from 25.00

WHEN: Wednesday, March 28, 2018; 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: 100-938 Howe St., Vancouver

How many times has your organization had to deal with the loss of time, money and energy dealing with inconsistent and ad-hoc filing systems on a shared server? Are new staff often unsure of which files to retain, or where to find information in the system? Are you unsure of your existing records policies or wondering if you should write one? You’re not alone.

In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will introduce the basic concepts of records management that can be most easily implemented at your organization, regardless of size. Delivered through a condensed curriculum developed with the support of the University of British Columbia’s Records Department, participants will learn the three key practices for managing a content system that when implemented, stays organized and consistent, even through staff turnover. Other key concepts regarding policy and best documentation practices will also be covered.

If you are unable to attend this workshop in person, watch and submit your questions from where you are with live online access! To join us digitally, select the Livestream option from the form below. You will be emailed a link to the video.
