Call for Entry - The Fort Gallery’s 2018 Juried Photography Exhibition: 
altered spaces: interventions in the landscape

wilderness – definition: an area essentially undisturbed by human activity. Wilderness is an endangered environment as humans continue to encroach on even the most remote places on our planet.

For the 2018 juried photography exhibition, the Fort Gallery invites submissions on themes of human intervention and intrusion into the wilderness landscape.

Exhibition dates: July 25-August 19, 2018. Entries must be submitted to The Fort Gallery by June 21, 2018.

The Fort Gallery is located at 9048 Glover Road, Fort Langley, BC. Fort Langley is the home of a national historic site, as well as several other museums, galleries, and a host of antique shops, boutiques and restaurants. On weekends and holidays, the village bustles with visitors.

How to Apply: 

Artists may submit a maximum of 3 photographs or photo-based artworks electronically for adjudication to the Fort Gallery at by Thursday, June 21, 2018.

To apply:
1. Complete an online artist submission form ( and pay the jury fee: one fee payment per artist. $30 ($20 for Fort Gallery Society Members).
2. Send a separate email to with digital (jpeg, jpg) images of up to 3 pieces of original photographs or photo-based artworks.
